FAQ About Our Work

  • How much do you charge?

    Our fees depend on the engagement, however because we don't like to "clock watch," we typically charge a flat fee (either monthly or per project). This enables our clients to contact us via phone or email without having to worry about the meter running. We charge separately for travel related expenses.

  • What benefit do I get from working with both Lauren and Urs?

    You get the advantage of two experienced coaches and consultants working with you throughout your engagement. Our clients tell us that they appreciate the insights that come from our very different yet complementary personalities, skills and viewpoints. We have found our diversity to be especially valuable in facilitation work with family groups and teams.

  • Do I have to pay twice as much because there are two of you?

    You do not. We work on a flat-fee basis rather than hourly rate, and our fees are comparable with those of other highly-qualified and experienced consultants and coaches who work alone. With Redpoint you get the added benefit of having two highly skilled professionals working with you. Our clients tell us that our team approach is particularly valuable when facilitating team and family meetings. With the exception of reimbursement for travel, you do not pay "extra" to work with two seasoned professionals instead of one.

  • How long is your typical engagement?

    Typically, the first phase of a succession planning project, which involves fact-finding, questionnaires and assessments, lasts four to six weeks. The following phases, which include implementing and refining the plan, can last anywhere from several months to several years.

    Our leadership coaching engagements typically run between six and ten months.

  • Do I have to sign a contract?

    Based our initial meeting, we put together a proposal. We ask that you sign the proposal before we proceed.

  • What payment options do I have?

    We accept checks, and major credit cards.

  • Can I talk to your clients to get a feel for your work?

    Yes, we are happy to provide contact information for our previous clients.

  • How do I ensure our work together remains confidential?

    You have our absolute word that all of our work with clients remains confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of the business without your permission.
